The Provincial Museum of Ancient Arts of Namur is installed since 1964 in the Hallof Gaiffier Hestroy (eighteenth century), owned by the Province of Namur. The stuccoof the front cover (1768) are classified as exceptional Walloon heritage.
The permanent collection consists of works of art from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance from the Namur region. The museum also has the famous Treasure of Oignies, and the largest collection of paintings by Henri Bles.
In addition to its collections, the museum maintains an extensive library, Prints andalso hosts the cabinet of coins François Cajot.
For younger children, the museum offers educational activities.Interest and specificity of the museum's heritage Namur. Accompanied bytemporary exhibitions are organized scientific publications.It responds to any request for cooperation or logistical support and expertise can help in the objects or documents.
The museum organises each year one or two extra temporary exhibitions and produces numerous publications.

GROESBEECK DE CROIX MUSEUM
A local council museum since 1935, the Groesbeeck de Croix building is one of the finest mansions built in Namur in the 18th century. Magnificently restored, it has the atmosphere of an aristocratic residence of the Age of Enlightenment. A remarkable collection of decorative arts from Namur : furniture, glass and crystal, crockery, silverware, paintings and sculpture.
STRAWBERRY MUSEUM
The Strawberry Museum, also known as the The Muse de la Fraise, is located in a park on the banks of the Meuse in Namur, Belgium. The museum is devoted to the farming of strawberries. In the museum is a shop which sells strawberry-related souvenirs such as strawberry jam and liquor.
Set up in the gardener's house of a beautiful Mosan mansion, the strawberry museum shows the past history of Wépion and strawberry growing. Documentaton centre, video film, shop with local produce. Educational garden growing small fruits (35 ares). Superb walk along the Meuse river.
